My stay at the Aston MonteLago Resort Hotel was overall quite pleasant, with beautiful lakeside views and spacious accommodations. However, some amenities were lacking, and the dining options, while decent, were a bit pricey. It's a charming location for relaxation but can feel a bit isolated without easy access to groceries.
Rooms
7.0
We stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bath condo that was spacious and had a lovely balcony overlooking the village. However, the beds were very hard, and the kitchen could have used additional cooking supplies.
Service
7.0
The staff was mostly friendly and attentive, but I did find that certain services, like Wi-Fi access, were limited to public areas.
Location
6.0
The resort is situated in a tranquil environment adjacent to Lake Las Vegas, but it's quite isolated, making it necessary to drive for grocery shopping.
Dining
7.0
There were some good dining options nearby, but prices were higher than expected. The Italian restaurant had excellent service and food.
Facilities
6.0
The resort offers a quaint village atmosphere with several activities like boat rentals, but some facilities, like the golf course, are closed.

5.8/10
I had mixed feelings about my stay. On one hand, the views were stunning and the accommodations spacious, making it a comfortable place for relaxation. However, the area felt lifeless with many shops and restaurants closed during our visit, which made dining options limited. Although it offered some amenities, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the expectations of a resort setting.
Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and had a nice balcony, but it overlooked an empty work site which detracted from the ambiance.
Service
7.0
The service from the staff was satisfactory, though not directly related to the resort. They were accommodating when we needed assistance.
Location
5.0
The location is tucked away from the hustle of the strip, ideal for those wanting peace, but it feels a bit isolated with limited nearby activities.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were sparse, and many places weren’t open, which was a real downside. The lack of food variety was disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
The available facilities such as the pool were adequate, but overall, the lack of vibrant activities and amenities made it feel less like a resort.

My stay at the Aston MonteLago was quite an experience. The overall setting provided a peaceful escape from the usual Vegas chaos, and I enjoyed the unique village atmosphere. However, the lack of reliable Wi-Fi in the rooms and some outdated technology were minor drawbacks. The dining options were decent, but the closed casino did affect overall engagement on the property.
Rooms
7.0
The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a large fridge, multiple TVs, and even a washing machine. However, the lack of a proper lake view was a bit disappointing.
Service
6.0
While some staff were friendly, there were instances of inconsistency, particularly in communication regarding events. Overall, service could have been smoother.
Location
8.0
The resort is nestled away from the Strip, which was perfect for a tranquil getaway. However, it does feel somewhat isolated due to limited dining options nearby.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were enjoyable, especially the Italian restaurant and the Mexican grill. However, more variety would enhance the experience.
Facilities
8.0
Facilities like the gym and laundry were quite handy. The pool area was peaceful, but a bit more vibrancy or activities would elevate the space.
